does anyone actually buy BF-specific clothes? I've just avoided dresses for the last 10 ms (well apart from the odd stretchy v-neck ).

agree this is better than anything from the NCT catalogue. just.

Tutter · 18/09/2007 13:48

generally am happy to hoick em out

but sometimes i go to places where i want to be sure postnatal tummy is covered
nice to pull one top up and another down

boob tube under normal top

then when you hoick top up, belly is covered

or get big cardigan like I did

Pannacotta · 18/09/2007 13:50

Cant see it well in the link, does it unhook like a nursing bra?

Tutter · 18/09/2007 13:51

wish fcuk did zoom...

I have used this dodge on a couple of old bras but hadn't thought of doing it on a whole vest...

Pannacotta · 18/09/2007 13:54

but then you have to expose the top part of your chest which always makes me feel quite naked (much more so than pulling a top up from the waist).
Keep us posted Tutter, am on the lookout for bf friendly clothes which look NORMAL...

Tutter · 18/09/2007 13:55

now if only i were a litle more able in all things doestic, mrsbee, i would def do that for a load of regular top shop vests

OP posts:
Pannacotta · 18/09/2007 13:55

MrsB you can clearly sew (as well as shop!) I cant sadly. but great idea...

Tutter · 18/09/2007 13:55

pannacotta, am thinkin of using it under loose tops, so one comes up, the other down, hence no bodily exposure...

Pannacotta · 18/09/2007 13:57

Good idea Tutter, pls keep us posted...

Feeding vests are brilliant in winter - but are only ever on sale in summer. Last year H&M did some, but the boob part was not really large enough. Nonetheless, they made outdoor feeding in winter very much more comfortable and modest than exposing belly. I wore them with a big button-up shirt over the top.

MrsBadger · 18/09/2007 14:01

best-looking bf clothes I have seen

if you get those rivetty plier thing you can do it with poppers and no sewing
or buy boob tubes - dp has them in sale

Pannacotta · 18/09/2007 16:37

MrsB agree re your Mamaway link, some of the tops are really pretty. Havent got round to ordering any yet though... Think they are shipped from Asia which put me off a bit as returns would be pricey.
