That is a hard one.....

My first instinct is to go for the suit and funky top, but think if the said top flashes boobs or is inappropriate (or looks cheap) then best to opt for formal top. But then the trousers and tunic option also sounds good....sorry I'm really not much help - think I have pregnancy brain.

Ok - how about some tailored well cut trousers with tunic top, maybe layered with fashionable jacket (either swing jacket, bracelet sleeves etc or bell sleeves, kimono style belted - topshop have a really nice black wool one but would it go againsy you to be wearing topshop???!! AND I am forgetting your interview is tomorrow, not like you have time to wonder off shopping!)

MrsBadger??? Are you there?

what job?

If it's a mangement post then suit with formal top.

If not thendress with leggings.

TheDuchess · 17/09/2007 22:00

Very much depends on the role, I think. Wear what you'd wear to work, only a bit smarter and accessorize.

dressedupnowheretogo · 17/09/2007 22:02

its for an advanced sales associate or shoe department so i don't think its management

so if dress with leggings?
beige/black/white print kneelength dress with black leggings?

turquoise boatnecked mini dress with black leggings?

black wrap dress with teal footless tights?

my god this is annoying

brimfull · 17/09/2007 22:03

beige/black with black leggings

TheDuchess · 17/09/2007 22:07

Blimey, just tell them how many outfits you are able to decide between and I'm sure you'll be able to demonstrate a good enough interest in fashion.

Can't help you decide between them. Just where what makes you feel most confident and together.

I used to work for Wallis, if I rememeber I wore a suit with top for my interview.
I would dress it up with some accs, and go from there.
Oh my suits are always trouser suits and always wear heels (but could be as im only 5ft)

dressedupnowheretogo · 18/09/2007 09:38

do you not think sits are too formal or do they wear suits my god my brain is spinning

OP posts:
dressedupnowheretogo · 18/09/2007 09:39

suits even also im 5'8 i look like a man in heels and huge norks too???

OP posts:
AllBuggiedOut · 18/09/2007 09:43

I used to work for them too. Definitely wouldn't go for leggings and dress. Trouser suit with good accessories best bet I think.

Gemy · 18/09/2007 09:45

Have you tried putting each potential outfit on and seeing which one seems "right"? Sometimes, if I pre-choose, when I put said outfit on I look in mirrow and just feel all wrong.

And I am also 5 ft 8 with big boobs but just stand tall and wow them with your ability!

Good luck

lisad123 · 18/09/2007 09:45

well from what i rememeber we had to wear suits when working, so not sure if that helps. I would defo go for suit but thats my own opinion.
