High waisted skinny/straight trousers

My go-to outfit is high waisted skinny jeans and slightly oversized nice tops. While most days I'm okay wearing jeans to work when I have client meetings I'd like to dress a bit more "proper".

Any suggestions on where to get high waisted skinny/straight leg trousers to smart-en up my wardrobe?

I would think pretty much everywhere! Boden, mint velvet, M&S maybe try John Lewis as they have massive range of retailers. Honestly I think anywhere sells these. When I worked I used to get similar from banana republic, Gap, Boden

Hmm maybe it's just that I hate the way they all look...for some reason the style really works for me as jeans, but not as standard trousers. Can't put my finger on why. Oh well - off to look at other high waisted trousers.

I looked on the River Island site, there's lots of trousers some Mid Rise Skinny & some Cigarette Pants that look mid rise but the only high rise ones are wide leg.

Maybe try Topshop? & M&S always have a big selection of trousers.

I struggle as well with the combination of high waisted, skinny, trousers. Mid rise yes, jeans yes, but getting all three together seems hard. I also need petite because I'm a shortarse... that doesn't help!

Oh me too @LlamaofDrama ! I've finally accepted that I have to get almost all my trousers hemmed. But like the high waisted as it makes my legs look less like short stumps :-)

The best I've found that I actually like are River Island. But definitely would have to get them taken up..
