Do you put your autumn/winter clothes away for the next season ?

I used to keep all seasons clothes in my wardrobe and it got chaotic.
I've started putting them in the loft now.
Winter coats /boots /jumpers etc
Do you have wardrobe switch ups every season ?

Yes and I love rediscovering them too!

I began doing it about ten years ago when I was about to take an impromtu trip to Oz....it wasn't planned and a friend said "I'll get my summer wardrobe out and you can use whatever you like"

I was SO impressed. She had all her summer things well stored and let me use them.

So after that I began doing the same. I use plastic tubs for my winter jumpers and vacuum bags for cottons.

No. I really should though as I don't have enough room in my wardrobe! The only things I really put away are things that I would only ever wear on a hot holiday.

I do. I have a regular wardrobe in my bedroom and a big built in one in the spare room. The spare room holds all the off-season clothes (and all the lovely things that I am currently too fat for!). Every time the weather turns I spend an afternoon swapping over and finding fantastic things I had forgotten. I also don’t buy anything for the new season until I have done the switchover which saves some money too.

I divide my clothes 25/50/25 and only switch out the extreme clothes.
So heavy winter stuff goes out and very light summer stuff comes in about 2 months later. The core clothes are good for Autumn and Spring.
That gives me a breather from an overstuffed wardrobe.
But I don’t live in the U.K. so climate varies a lot.

Yes except instead of loft they are in the drawers under my bed when out of season so I can easily get to them if needed.

I do as I don't have a large wardrobe.
It bugs me though when I find that something went away that I could wear now.
I find spring and Autumn challenging as Summer and winter are easy.

Yes. Jumpers in a lidded box and coats in a vacuum bag.
