As several people on MN have raved about Flexitol, I will be applying it twice daily to my hideous feet and posting a photo on this profile every 2 days so we may judge the results.

!!WARNING!! Profile Contains Pictures Of Hideous Feet.

works well for moderately hooflike trotters but yes it does smell of wee....so much so that i never use it in the day when i'm off out! smell is worse when it's hot....so no problems now then!

pollywollydoodle · 16/09/2007 21:00

ps just seen piccies....would class those as moderately hooflike!

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/09/2007 21:03

Oh I didn't know this came with the MN seal of approval, but a RL friend recommended it to me at the start of summer, and my feet are massively improved.

I can say with complete confidence that my feet were far far worse that yours Duchess.

deaconblue · 16/09/2007 21:09

lol. You are very brave to do this. Iused flexitol on my grotters for a couple of months twice a day but no real improvement. Have bought a Boots own version this week and they look better already

divastrop · 16/09/2007 21:14

it did wonders for my cracked feet but same as most others here they went back to normal as soon as i stopped using it.

i wonder if pissing in a tub of rich moisturiser and putting it on your feet would have the same effect?

i use sandpaper to get the hard skin off my feet.foot files are of no use

pollywollydoodle · 16/09/2007 21:32

remember not to smooth them too much or you will slide around inside your shoes like i did at my wedding

moondog · 16/09/2007 22:12

How romantic Polly.
Your groom must have been thrilled.

he did wonder why i was holding his arm quite so much!

Flexitol has made me think about how it was discovered that urine makes your feet soft (cows kept in poor conditions apparently). I also came across this fascinating page. It talks about wee and rough feet under the section about Hip Baths (oh yes, a pissy bath).

i think i'd draw the line at wee in my eyes!

didn't sailors get others to pee on their backs after they'd been lashed to sterilise the wounds and encourage healing...

will go now as my mind is going off at a tangent about golden showers and can the recipients of them be identified by their supersmooth skin
