Hi, I’m 36 and have never had a face cleansing/cream routine. Unless you count washing the face with soap in the shower. I’ve also never worn Make up. So I’m just rubbish at self care routines.

I do wear factor 30/50 in the sun though! But this as far as it goes.

But now I’m getting wrinklier... fine eye and forehead lines and deep between the brow lines. I have always had quite open pores too.

So I thought I should probably try to slow down the ageing process!

Any tips and recommendations for anti weinkle face creams with spf that won’t break the bank please? And any other routines I should be getting in to?

Thanks x

I work with medical skincare and I have a few suggestions if you are brand new to skincare!

Moisturizer with SPF usually won't be good enough. You should use a decent moisturizer, then seperate SPF. Heliocare gel oil free is the absolute best. It is one of the only spf 50 product that isn't shiny.

A Vitc serum is also a good thing to invest in too. It helps cell turnover and will freshen up your skin.

Next level would be hyaluronic acid. This is simply a hydrator. A drink for your skin.

Then possibly a Retinol serum too!

@olivehater sorry wrongly worded, I thought your post was suggesting that moisturisers with spf in them have the same amount of spf content as sun creams with spf in them

I use the red one from Aldi with spf 30. However, during proper spring/summer, and when not in lockdown, I use a separate 30 spf sunscreen and a normal Moisturiser. The Aldi stood is nice though and I like having spf in the Moisturiser for unexpe Ted sunny days.
