My dd told she is too beautiful to model?

I've put her picture in my profile page. I cannot believe they would turn her down for being too beautiful!

I mean, as a parent you always think your child is gorgeous and we more than any, but I did hope we'd be able to make a mint out of her!

scandalous.

Bluestocking · 15/09/2007 20:04

It's so unfair, isn't it? There's always lots of help for the averagely attractive, but the truly headturning (and I agree, Rhubarb, your daughter does qualify) are just left to fend for themselves.

Easywriter · 15/09/2007 20:05

She IS a looker!

Does she take after you, DP or is there some resemblance to that pet hamster of yours?

Rhubarb · 15/09/2007 20:05

Thank you so much! She is just so stunning and the thought that we can't exploit her good looks is just too much to bear!

PinkChick · 15/09/2007 20:06

fecking hell am i gullible or what, shoited mesel there!!!

Carmenere · 15/09/2007 20:06

But Rhu she is mind-blowingly stunning, perhaps it is part of this London Fashion Week responsible modelling initiative. It would be unfair on the other models if your dd was out there getting all the work.

CatIsSleepy · 15/09/2007 20:07

have you considered plastic surgery to make her less attractive?

tiredemma · 15/09/2007 20:07

you should keep her to yourself rhubarb. The last thing you want is all and sundry at your door demanding that your 'unique' child be the be the new face for their campaign- she will be exhausted just from the sheer demand.

Cadmum · 15/09/2007 20:08

Arse!

morningpaper · 15/09/2007 20:08

She is deffo G&T on the attractiveness scale

filthymindedbolshevixen · 15/09/2007 20:09

Yeah, This happened to me a lot.
''We'd love to sign you up Miss Vixen, but the other models threatened to walk out''.
Twats.

Rhubarb · 15/09/2007 20:10

Yes, I have considered giving her the odd spot to make her look less than perfect. Already we get hate mail from other mums who are jealous that my dd makes their kids look ugly. I've been asked not to go to certain toddler groups because she outshines the rest!

What a shame you didn't have twins Rhubarb - Screw the Olsens - let's here it for the Rhubarbs!

tiredemma · 15/09/2007 20:12

Best thing you can do Rhubarb is stick a sack over her head, that way she cannot offend anyone with her beauty. Works for me.

CountessScabula · 15/09/2007 20:14

rhuby see xmas party thread again

Bluestocking · 15/09/2007 20:14

Rhubarb, do you think that your DD might be an Indigo Child? She has that tranquil beauty that's so characteristic of these very special souls. Om Shanti.

Housemum · 15/09/2007 20:17

Hmm, are youjust disappointed the modelling threads aren't still on here???!!! (My dd is not as stunning as yours, pic on my profile)

Rhubarb · 15/09/2007 20:23

I tend to find that other children cry with disappointment when they see my dd.

CD, I've replied to your reply but I'm afraid other Mumsnetters would suffer depression if I went to the do as they simply couldn't match my beauty!

House, yes your dd is lovely, but I feel you need to look at mine as an example of how to style yours.

CatIsSleepy · 15/09/2007 20:32

Rhubarb · 15/09/2007 20:38

Hurlyburly · 15/09/2007 20:39

Rhubarb · 15/09/2007 20:46

Yes HB, she can fart pop songs.

OP posts:
Bluestocking · 15/09/2007 20:48

Farts pop songs? Definitely an Indigo.

binkleandflip · 15/09/2007 20:48
