Will I look ridiculous in a winter outfit this evening?

I'm meeting some ex-colleagues that I haven't seen for a while and the only thing I feel comfortable in is a dress that I wear with opaque tights and knee-length boots. The dress itself is short sleeve and thinnish material but it's a winter colour (dark green and brown). Will it look all wrong now that summer is finally here?!

Do you have to wear it with the opaque tights and boots? Not an option to go with shoes or something?
If not, then just go for it anyway, if you are feeling comfortable in it you will look fabulous!

No you won't, that sounds fine to me.

thanks everyone. Shoes not an option - it's amazing how much the dress changes. It makes me look like my mother if I wear shoes with it. I'll go for it. By the time I get to the pub it'll probably be dark anyway.
