Good quality plain brown shoes for girls?

Where do I found them? Will probably get them from Vertbaudet but would like to see more. Can't stand the styles from Clarks and Startrite, they're so ....not simple. Too many flowers, too many beads and sparkling stuff, too many colours...
Are there alternatives?

dd is nealry 2 btw

Your best bet is an independent shoe shop

Saw some lovely little ones in Gap outlet the other day for around £12.

Yes, an independent shoe shop would be good... Don't know of any in Cambridge though...

Do people by sjoes online? I've bought some from vertbaudet before because I love the styles and I think they're really good quality, but it's so difficult to get the size right...

Fab one in Norwich though! Definately worth a day trip.

It's called Stompers its in the Arcade across from the market.

very old fashioned
too many flowers?
the ones on the right are actually bronze but look brown to me
again too much flowers?

LaCerbiatta · 14/09/2007 17:10

Thanks Nbg! I really like the Brantano ones, the flowers are very unoffensive. Dd can't wear mary janes unfortunately, they're always too tight on top because her foot is too high or something. And they look quite good quality and padded as well. Thanks!
