The Ordinary - baffled by what to pick

I’d love to try but I’m a bit confused about what to go for and what combo to pick. Is it baffling or just me?

I’m 40 with skin like orange peel, bit dry and looking lifeless.

Would love to have smooth glowy skin. Maybe it’s too late but happy to see if The Ordinary can help...

waaaaah @Pantouffle, noooo. I have 2/3 of a bottle left which I will from this moment forth stop slopping about wastefully. Hopefully it's just a supply issue! It completely smooths out my skin and leaves it like a lovely smooth canvas the next day.

I’m in love with the buckthorn fruit oil. There is a MASSIVE drawback with it though, it’s bright orange. And I do mean bright. Like an oompa-loompa but brighter.

I bought it ages ago but I stopped using it as it gets on your sheets but I decided to give it another go in lockdown and it’s the best thing ever. I know you aren’t supposed to touch your face but when I wake up is can’t stop.

I don't like complicated regimes or things that could potentially irritate it, but I rate The Ordinary Marula Oil. That's all I use at night after cleansing. I can tell the next morning when I use it. It looks even and clear. I stopped using it recently as I prefer to use a moisturiser rather than an oil, and both together would be too rich for my skin. But I started using it again and realised that it was this that was making such a difference to my skin.

Alpha Lipoic Acid makes me look like I have a filter on my skin. It’s amazing. I always forget how amazing it is until I stop using it for a bit.
