nappy, the pointier ones in Next look nice...and of course the Boden but way beyond my budget. The Jones Posy ones are like the ones I have...thanks for all this !

oh thats a shame. they have the next ones on ebay in black but in size 5. you could maybe email the seller and see if they have a 6. it looks like they've sold a few pairs of shoes and they are BNIB so she might have more than one pair.

search for kickers slouch boots to find them.

i went there on monday. thats where i saw the boots but i cant find them on the site for some reason.

haven't seen the very thing yet, but will keep looking - might venture to town next week and see them in the flesh, so to speak !

I think a bit of a heel might be a good option, I have 3 pairs of flattish boots - I don't seem to 'do' shoes for some reason - except for sandals,flip flops etc
