Hair never feels properly clean

I'm finding lately that no matter what shampoo I use my hair never feels properly clean. It feels quite coated (I don't use styling products) and nasty.

In the last few months I've tried

-Pantane miceller water
-Citrus head and shoulders
-Vozine
-Elvive nutri gloss

The only one that leaves my hair feeling clean is the Vozine but it leaves my hair a nasty dry mess too.

Any recommendations? I can't use Tresemee in any form as it irritates my skin badly!

Solid shampoo? What can I try next?

If you want to try a solid shampoo I would really recommend the Ethique brand - you can get it at Holland and Barrett (I think they're still delivering) There are different ones for different hair types. I used to have to wash my hair everyday or it would feel oily and dull, I now use the Ethique bar for oily hair and can go 2-3 days between washes. I've tried a couple of them though and they're all lovely.

They're a bit pricey but last for ages. I tried a cheaper solid shampoo and it left my hair really dull which I think is quite common with solid shampoos at first - I didn't get that at all with the Ethique one. They do a solid conditioner as well which is also nice.
