Have gorgeous boots, but they have a smooth sole, what can I do to stop slippage???

slash the soles with a sharp knife.

Go to a cobbler and get a rubber sole put on them.

depending on the material you could rub the sole with a piece of sandpaper

Get them rubber-soled. Works a treat.

Spray the soles with hairspray, or score them with a key or similar.
