Looking for some comfy joggers / yoga pants seeing as I'll be home a lot and these came up, these weren't the only ones, pages and pages of them, all focusing on women's bottoms. I don't get it!

Are these aimed at women to buy them or men to gawp?

But why would up close pictures of their bottoms inspire anybody to buy? You have to do the work-outs to get the bottom (and even then you might not) not buy horrible leggings. I can imagine teenage boys enjoying the pictures maybe!

My search was 'yoga pants' Grin

eBay.

The pictures look like soft porn....

MrsBobDylan · 25/03/2020 23:22

Omfg - I'd be so embarrassed to wear legging which would basically draw attention to my butt hole.

This has given me a good laugh though.

Binglebong · 25/03/2020 23:24

Oh my. Those shots are interesting. Are you sure they're not selling used leggings?!

userxx · 25/03/2020 23:49

@Binglebong I bet they are!! My friend once got £10 for a pair of worn socks 🤣

Binglebong · 26/03/2020 00:10

Blimey Userxx, I think I need to go into business!

If you follow any fitness models on Instagram, that pose, or versions of it, are super popular. They’re click bait - the more arse shots, the more likes they get, so even the serious weightlifters do it.

On YouTube, the fitness wear try-one are all “is this squat safe?”, as in not see-through when squatting, and to demonstrate this kind of pose is, once again, popular.

It’s all about harvesting likes and monetising videos by sexualising fitness/weight training/etc.

typicallyatypical · 26/03/2020 18:26

yeah it's a thing sadly. There is absolutely no intention of putting in a proper workout or getting fit or healthy, its all about sex.

The same women who are into those bogus skinny drinks, excessive cosmetic surgery, post bullshit spiritual quotes then go on a full on bitch rant in the very next post against anyone who dares challenge them.

Look up Lauren Goodger on Instagram, will tell you everything you need to know.
