I have a small timeslot to go shopping in - I need an evening top for a party at a friend's house

Where should I go? I'm thinking Monsoon, possibly coast but maybe too much £££. Any other suggestions? I love Kew but I think they are too casual for evening do(?)

Hee hee! It is a pain isn't it?! I have some platform type black shoes which I wear with my black trousers (so you can't see them...my dh HATES them!) and they are great for making my legs a bit longer.

Principles, monsoon and M&S have to be first ports of call I think.

I know you said not black but I have this top and it is gorgeous - plain and understated but looks 'special'/'posh' because of the fabric.

I must admit, I'm not sure about what styles suit big norks though.

And bearing in mind I went for the non-black ones - IMO the black tops are nicer!
