Wrap dress - what to wear with it?

Would really appreciate some ideas about what to wear over a wrap dress? Would like to wear this sort of thing for work - but feel a bit "exposed" in just the dress. Would a cardi work? Or a jacket? I am clueless . I do need to look smart but want to be comfy....Any suggestions??

If you feel exposed in terms of cleavage, then a vest top underneath should do the trick.

Boots would be nice for autumn.

Not sure about a cardi, you would have to be careful with the shape. It would kill the dress, I think.

Just be brave! You'll look lovely. Specially with a nice chunky necklace.

Thanks bobbiewickham - necklace a good idea - I think cleavage will stay covered up ok...(or at least I hope...) more self-conscious about tummy and waist! Any other ideas?

Big strong pants!

Bodyshaper tights will be good for winter.

Also, I find it helps to pull the tie at the side quite tight, to make gathers across the tummy, if you know what I mean. Hides a multitude of sins.

Oh, you'll look lovely. Remember, people will look at you and think , "ooh, nappybrain has a lovely wrap dress on." Then they'll go back to what they were doing. They don't scrutinise us for hours like we scrutinise ourselves

yes, vest top -that's what I'd do as they seem to cross your bosoms quite low !!! I think wrap dresses look fab

I wear a vest top under mine for work and then bear nore cleavage in the evening.

I have one fo these waist cinchers when I wear my more evening wrap dresses and they look great - I am a curvy size 16.

I would second big jewellery with them.
