What can I wear with this skirt? (Picture)

I'm 50, a size 12 and pale. I've bought this silly viscose midi skirt but have no idea what sort of top would be good with it. I'm thinking of wearing it in spring and summer, probably with a blue denim jacket. Any ideas for a top would be appreciated.

It's silky, not silly ( I hope!) and the skirt is a bit of a brighter yellowy- orange than it looks in the picture.

You could get away with wearing a cream top , a brown top and a black top with that colour I’d say! If I wear skirts I tuck my top in but you can get flared tops from new look, primark etc and have them lose and not tucked in. I’ll find an example

The trend is to wear this type of skirt with a T-shirt, tucked in.

White t-shirt tucked in, or body suit with a denim jacket. Chunky knitted jumper either cropped or with a belt, or half tucked.

Either a cream silk blouse - quite 70s feminine vibe, with heeled tan knee boots, or black skinny ribbed tight sweater and chunky ankle boots, maybe with a bike jacket on top. Or tee shirt, denim jacket and flats. It's very versatile.

Thank you for your replies. I definitely can't wear white but could try cream if it had a bit of pigment. Some if your ideas are great. I get so stuck in a rut that I can't even think. I'm going to try and find a nice cream or black t-shirt ( or one of each) in a nice, drapy fabric.

I count that as animal print. Animal print is a ‘neutral‘ so you could pair it with any strong coloured T-shirt in the same style as the photos (with trainers obvs)

If you're wearing it now, a black ribbed polo neck would be lovely with it.

Lilac

Basically any pastel colour would look good especially lilac

So I would wear a black close fitting top tucked in with that. In very light fabric.
