Hi,
So a few weeks ago I gave another local hairdresser a go and had a consultation. They did seem very professional, but couldn't seem to give me what I want.
My hair is naturally dark brown (a 5) with a scattering of greys and a growing out balayage, which I had done a year ago. I also have a bit of a warmer tone in the middle, where I had a permanent root dye to cover the grey at the same time as having my balayage, hence now half way down.
So until this morning I basically had 3 different colours on my hair. I was advised to have a semi permanent colour matching my natural colour on the roots and smudging into the warmer tone half way down my hair to blend the colours together.
It looks quite nice, but I would love another balayage. My hairdresser this morning was reluctant to do this, as I had too many things going on and she initially suggested a full head of highlights, but I really didn't want to look stripey.
Anyway, was that just her opinion or would any hairdresser be reluctant to give me another balayage now, given different parts of my hair are at different stages?
Sorry for the ramblings. I hope this has made sense
TIA
