What kind of shoes do 12 year old girls wear?

Because the only thing I can find in stores is trainer type shoes! Is that it? She has a couple of pairs of pumps and some winter boots. That's all

My daughter has Vans and Dr marten cherry red boots. Also has some trainers, school shoes and wellies. She will have flip flops in the summer.

Vans, converse, Dr Martens, Nike AF1 shoes like pumps etc aren’t really popular at present.

13yo has Vans, Converse high tops and the most God awful pair of chunky block heeled army/combat style boots from Primark . Wears brogues for school.

Same here, trainers all the way. Big clumpy Fila trainers last year, now it’s Nike Air Force 1s and Vans.

DD10 has 2 pairs of converse high tops, one pair that she practically lived in, some low converse, a pair of slip on vans, some trainers and some nice leather ankle boots (which she never wears)

Trainers. Oh and sliders on occasion for practical reasons.

Pair of chunky boots from Tesco, brogues for school, sliders for karate, Birkenstock’s (fake) for the summer.

Mine has Doc Marten brogues for school, Air Force 1s, some red Converse high tops, black biker boots with studs, and (boring) walking boots for when we're out with the dog. Crocs for running out to the trampoline, but wouldn't be seen dead in them in public.

Is it your 12 year old? Why don’t you just ask what they would like?

Vans, converse or Adidas trainers. Will get Havianas for summer.

Kickers for school and Air Force Nike for everything else. Her friends are the same- although some also have Filas

Mine have been in Dr Martens since they were about 10 with the occasional foray into New Rocks.

Trainers or vans/converse. DD's high school allows trainers so getting her into nice school shoes will not happen.

I think she's as confused as me, we went into a couple of shops and the options were trainers... Or trainers

School shoes - black brogues
Navy blue ankle boots
'Ugg' style slip on boots (from Primark)
Converse
Adidas trainers

Fila’s for weekends and lace up with thick clumpy soles for school.
