Is there ANY way of making a work polo t shirt look stylish?

I can wear it with pretty much anything (trainers / heels / trousers / jeans / skirt) but the offending t shirt is Black so I’ve so far been sticking to those colours.

I usually wear black jeans and doc martins, but god I’m bored of it!

Is there ANYTHING I can do to make an outfit more bearable from it?!

I just had to google. Imagine that with more matronly boobs and we are on to something!

It’s a hopeless cause isn’t it?!

Wear a jaunty long sleeved top under it?
I hate polo shirts too, sympathies.

Probably not. Very sorry. It's a uniform.

FruityWidow · 08/03/2020 19:15

I had this exact uniform, black jeans and docs too. I'm also large of nork with hourglassish shape. Slightly bigger mens fit polo shirt tucked in at the front and collar up with a tight fit straight leg jeans was the only way I could feel it remotely flattering.

Hmmm, you have all confirmed my worst fears.... there is nothing that can be done. I never used to wear this uniform as I’m not customer facing, but trying hard to be a team player. I may have to lobby for changes to the uniform instead!

Could you tailor/have tailored it to fit more flatteringly? Often polo shirts are shapeless, which doesn’t help the overall look

I used to work somewhere we had to wear polo's.

One of the ladies would always have a colour co-ordinated outfit around it. Think red trousers, long sleeved top (under the polo) and usually a gilet and headscrfe/attire.

She had red, pink, blue green, different colour for each day. I'm not sure you would say 'stylish' but she looked fab
