These ‘Jimmy Choos’ are fake, right?

Name changed in case the seller finds this thread. Don’t fancy them having access to all my old posts!

Bought these ‘Jimmy Choos’ from eBay and I’m so sure they are fake, but the seller is doing a very convincing ‘you’ve hurt my feelings’ routine so I just need someone else to see it!

For me the giveaways are:

  • Weird black marks on both labels
  • Stitching on one of the labels is totally off-centre
  • Brown glue showing all along the side of one of the shoes

Despite insisting they’re real she’s been awfully quick to refund me but I’m wondering if I should even be returning them? If they’re definitely fake I don’t want some other sucker buying them instead.

eBay say if I take them to the JC store and get them to write a letter confirming they’re fake then I don’t have to return them, but that honestly just sounds far too embarrassing!

I have the same shoes (but real as I bought them from Selfridges) I think they are seconds - maybe Bicester Village

I have Jimmy Choo's from a sample sale with these marks on the label I think, will check when I'm at home. I have a lot of shoes and bags from high end brands and I find the glue marks come out as they age so I wouldn't be surprise if they are genuine.

I have the real shoe - I will dig them out and see what I think
