hi everyone, after just joining, and reading the reviews on lumea i thought id add my experience, may help others. i bought my lumea 4 years ago (i have the fair skin, dark hair they say it works best on), well my excess hair has reduced by about 90%, this HAS taken over three years, though, using it as recommended. my main areas of concern were chin and legs. hoping this may help anyone who's been using it for a shorter time who may feel like giving up!

I still have to shave legs but far less often, so I would definitelyrecommend. My underarms haven't slowed down growth but they are very coarse.

It's worked really well for me. Used it regularly for first six months on underarms, legs,
Chin and tache, and now only see growth about every 2 months, and that's sparse and barely noticeable.
I will say tho that I have never shaved my legs -
Only ever waxed and epilated, so those hairs were already sparse.
Would recommend!

I used mine for the first time in months today, just to make sure my top lip and chin stay hair free. I have coarse dark hair and it was as good as gone within the first couple of weeks.

Several years later, I do a top up zap when I remember, just to keep any strays at bay, but have no underarm hair, no facial hair, mostly no leg hair (I missed a few spots!) and could not be more impressed with it.

Mine wasn't actually the Lumea, but a very similar item called SmoothSkin Gold, which was a bit cheaper than the Phillips one.

well it took a lot longer for me lol, guess mine was more stubborn. of course i think having pcos means the treatment might take a lot longer, glad you girls have had success though 🙂
