HI all

I used to use Retriderm retinol 1% replacement following recommendations on here and from that TV prog from a few year ago. Built up to 1% over a year or so and applied about 3-4 times / week at night

They've stopped selling it ...(cost £40+) so looked for suggestion of alternative and someone suggested paula's choice- looks fine but also about £50

But when I go online I see the Ordinary retinol 1% in squalene and good reviews but its only £6? Is this really any good or am I not understanding something about different products?

Thanks!!!!

Caroline Hirons has got a couple of YouTube videos on retinols, I would highly recommend starting there for the best advice.

Yep it's pretty good, especially for the price.

I have found that it has made a difference. I have moved onto the 2% now. Definately try it.

I've started using it again this week (not sure why I stopped) and its definitely made a difference.

I love the ordinary. Great results and I'm sure I've had their retinol.

When they first started I got the 1% and used it 3 to 4 times a week, I think it's great.

Thanks to all. Will take a good look and hopefully save myself lots of £ too!
