Anyone good with describing colour?

This dress is described as grey but I think it’s quite an unusual grey but not sure how to describe it!!

Dove grey. It looks blue-toned on my monitor.

I'm internally fighting back n forth with myself over a jumper I really want. An old favourite of mine is fit for the rag bin and would like a replacement. This new one is is the same sort of style and colour and although it's brand new and not second hand it is sustainably sourced from a reputable retailer. It's 2/3 times more than I like spending on 1 garment but I can afford it. I want to have a look in some charity shops tomorrow to see if I can find anything suitable but it's in the sale and apparently only 1 left in stock of my size. - - hate it when they do this--
