What colour hair for fair skin, brown hair and very light brown hair?

Love all the coppery colours but I think they probably suit blue eyed ladies best. My hair is a very boring colour, very light brown and I have fair skin and hazel/brown eyes. I was very blonde as child and have always highlighter my hair, but my hair was just breaking off from bleach. I've managed to grow it all out now after years of hight lights and its much darker than I thought it would be!!

Your current hair colour is beautiful.
I wouldn't bother dyeing it until you had greys (unless you were happy to keep the greys of course).

Light brown hair is v nice and having your natural hair colour will complement your skin, eyes etc. Probably healthy to take a break from the chemicals too.

Thank you. Depends on the light though as it can look flat and mousy. You're prob all right. I'm 38 so will prob have grey hairs before long. It doesnt really suit me though even though it's my natural colour? But may be that is because I've had years of blonde hair and highlights!

Sounds like you’ve internalised the sexist idea that your hair colour is “boring” and “mousy”, and doesn’t suit you.

Dozer - maybe..the hairdresser made a remark a long those lines to me and I was talking hair with a friend the other day and she said "mine is a dull, mousy colour like yours naturally too, that's why I dye mine!"

Some hairdressers are very “negging”: I avoid those ones! They have financial reasons to encourage women to dye. And the sexist stuff is all around. Good to notice it, and try not to believe it! Men don’t get that crap.
