I quite like these. Can I wear them with a dress/skirt?

This might be a pencil skirt. Or a short A-line. Or a long midi.
I like the masculine edge/feminine dress combo. I've tried many Oxfords and so far only these fit.

Obviously, as an autonomous agent, I can. But do they work?

Wear what you want and enjoy it. I think they would go better with a shorter skirt but i also think go for it and style it up if you like them x

ChainsawBear · 22/02/2020 12:24

Yes you can definitely wear brogues with a dress/skirt.

Thank you, Mydog.
Did you mean, as short as a pencil skirt?
Or a mini with opaques?

I've got these in silver. I wear them with mini skirts/dresses and opaques. They are soooo comfortable.

Lweji · 22/02/2020 12:28

I would, although probably with the shorter skirts. Or a longer straight skirt.

Ninkanink · 22/02/2020 12:30

Yes, they would work.

Thank you. I honestly think my shoe-uncertainty relates to school playground memories of being 'the kid who doesn't get fashion'.

They look a LOT better on!

I think if you have nice slim legs they’ll ‘work’ with most things. However, if you have legs like mine short & chunky, much less so. But they look like they’d be pretty comfortable.

'the kid who doesn't get fashion'.

I think the advantage of being an adult is being able to wear what YOU like and not giving a toss what ‘the mean girls ’ think. ‘Fashion’ is over rated & having your own style that suits you is far more important (IMO)

notstockpilingyet · 22/02/2020 13:06

Absolutely, Amelie. Just hard to shake off (despite being ancient). But important to remind oneself that we are not at school anymore.

I think short love. I think knee length could look a bit frumpy but not terrible. X
