Hats for dog walking that stay on your head..and keep the rain out of your eyes!

Walking the dog 3 times a day in this dire weather.
I have option 1.. hood... blows back or isn't deep enough for my (large) head.
Option two... beanie.. which gets soaked, doesn't stop the rain in my face/glasses and always rides up til it perches on top and looks ridiculous (me this evening)
I just want something that stays on..preferably with a brim, doesn't make me look 80 and if possible vaguely stylish in a country dog person kind of a way.
For a large head!
Any suggestions please?!

I have this one and it's great. I bought a size L because I have lots of hair and don't like tight hats and it's a great fit

My preferred choice is a waterproof baseball cap with my waterproof hood pulled up over it and tightened. If you want to have your ears free, Decathlon do a sailing hat with a brim. Maybe look at sailing suppliers for hats and coats as they're designed for a lot of wind and water.

I don't think any option is stylish in strong wind and rain. But I think that if you can keep the rain out of your eyes, then you don't end up pulling that snarling face

I have a waxed bucket hat from Joules for my dog walking.
I hate hoods and this one keeps me dry and fits perfectly.
Not sure about stylish though, I call it my "Vera" hat

I would go for something like this olive green wax fedora shaped hat with a feather in, definitely country walk worthy 😀 The second one is showerproof rather than waterproof but still looks good!

Unless you want the Vera look as suggested above - not a good look in my opinion.

Balaclava? Although you might get the odd side eye.

I have one of those waxed hats with a brim. My DD hates it with a a passion but it keeps the rain off my glasses which is great. The worst thing is that rain collects in the brim so if you tip your head forward there is a deluge.

I got a black cap that advertised itself for professional sailors! The type with a peak. Bit Corbyn style but waterproof and works!

I've got something similar to this, sits pretty tight in all weather, shades you in the sun too. Mine's about 25 years old so pretty hardwearing.
