I've recently lost weight and gone from a size 18 to a size 12. I need a whole new wardrobe, but as I haven't seriously gone shopping for. . .erm well never (!) I don't know what's out there.

I want to get some good quality stuff that will last, medium price range - I'm thinking Monsoon, Gap, and then my mind is a blank. Online shopping a must. Not into high fashion. Just good quality, classic stuff.

I'm ashamed to admit that I have worn almost solely Next stuff for the past 7 years, that has always been overpriced, badly fitting and tends to fall apart/become mishapen after 3 washes. I'd rather spend more and get things that last.

Credit card at the ready, tell me where to go!

I like White Stuff. There was a good thread earlier about knitwear that had links to Topshop which I would never usually look at but their stuff looks really nice at the moment.

First of all well done for losing all that weight!!! Bloody great!!

Monsoon is quite expensive & the last time I was in there they didn't have every day stuff.. Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Oasis, River Island. There is another one I can't remember the name of!

Good quality,classic clothes Coast? Do they do normal every day clothes? I think the one near me had some blouses & skirts in the lastime I was there.

Congratulations on the weight loss - you must be feeling so proud.

And God you must be pleased at the thought of getting away from Next (hate the shop).

Why not try a personal shopping service - the one at Topshop is good fun, and they also do them at some department stores as well (don't know where you live). This can be a good way of seeing what suits and what doesn't, and you can try out some different kinds of stuff than you normally would.

Debenhams is also great for a the cheap designer range stuff.

Other shops worth looking at are Oasis, River Island, Karen Millen, LK Bennett and Hobbs.

Have fun - spend, spend spend!

Hobbs! That's the one I was thinking of!

Bennetton? {not sure of spelling}

Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming!

I read that Monsoon jeans were good, so I bought some and the are! So, Monsoon is not just for "fancy" stuff.

Online shopping is a must as I live on the Isle of Wight.
