Need a fabulous underwired nursing bra in nude ...

Am 8 months pregnant, and going to a wedding next week ... I tried my outfit on yesterday, but my bra is just not doing it - I feel enough of a hippo already ...

I need an underwired bra (nude colour - hate white bras!) that I can wear again - just buying it for the wedding next weekend isn't going to happen as I can't afford it!

I'm a 36E at the moment - expecting to go back down to a 34 back after the birth ...

only black or white
ditto

am on the hunt though

(NB I miss underwires much less than I thought I would)

[[http://www.anita.com/gb/en/148,264__products-press_detail.htm if you could bear to wait till feb...)

if you could only wait till feb]

If you can't find anything then this was a lifesaver for me. It is basically instructions on how to turn any bra into a nursing bra and I used it on a couple of mine with elastic, hook and latches from haberdasher. Didn't take more than an evening and only cost a couple of quid!

Thanks for those suggestions ... (wish I could wait until February) ... anybody found a nude coloured one?

sorry just realised you wanted underwired, but teh Anita one does look good and supportive too....

Jenkeywoo · 03/09/2007 08:24

I've just bought a couple of Anita underwired bras from Figleaves and I couldn't recommend them enough. It is lovely to be able breastfeed easily but with the added 'ooomp' of an underwired bra - and believe me after 18 months breastfeeding I needed some 'ooomp'! there are also lots of voucher codes available for figleaves - here:

www.vouchercodes.com/voucherpages/figleaves.htm - I have used 'BIRTH07' to get 20% off and it's worked twice for me.

ejt1764 · 03/09/2007 16:06

Thanks for that Jenkeywoo ... now I just to make sure I order the right size - this is my 2nd baby: do you think the "down a back size, up a cup size" information stills applies?

ooh, that's a hard one - I have to say this is my second baby and i seem to have gone up a back size and cup size! but that could just be too many choccy biscuits.
