I'm in London and need to buy a new pinky nude lip gloss

Quite sheer, my-lips-but-better type thing. My current L'Oréal one is on its last legs and I'd like to try something new.

Needs to be a gloss rather than a lipstick as my skin reacts weirdly to lipsticks.

Any recommendations? I'm heading to Oxford St so will be near the big department stores. Not fussed on budget. Thanks in advance.

Bobbi brown crushed liquid lip in hippy shake

Was just coming on to suggest Bobbi brown crushed too! It’s so lovely.

I got a lovely Clarins one recently...“Lip protector“ maybe? It’s like moisturising lip gloss, is lovely. I don’t really like wearing lipstick but this is great.

Ohhh or they've just brought out bobbi brown crushed oil infused gloss! Love letter and new romantic shades look good

castlesfromtherubble · 01/02/2020 13:39

Ooooh, thanks for the speedy replies. I'll check out the Bobbi Brown one.

Any more suggestions?

Chanel “Boy”. It’s the classic.

Also check out the YSL Rouge Volupte shine lipsticks. They have good deep colour but are very smooth and silky.

The Fenty beauty ones, they're fab

The Dior lip oils are gorgeous but mega money. I frivolously bought one last week without checking the price - luckily I had vouchers.

Or the Clarins lip perfectors are really nice too.

I have number one in all of these and are a pinky nude type thing.

Thanks again all. I ended up in John Lewis and tried Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier and Charlotte Tilbury. The CT one by a whisker - it's a really nice shade called Portobello Girl (wanky name, lovely colour).

I've had done funny reactions to lip products as well recently but can't work out what the ingredient is but this was fine.

CottonSock · 02/02/2020 19:16

Ooh. I'm off to wilko tomorrow to try that
