Cynosure Elite v Soprano Ice for laser hair removal

Just wanted to hear about your experiences as thinking of taking the plunge. I have found two places near me but one uses Cynosure Elite laser and the other place uses Soprano. Both laser, not IPL, but they both say pain bearable, no more than waxing, bit like rubber band flicking on skin sensation. I have dark hair and light olive skin. Price wise they are similar as there are some offers on. Any preferences?

I’m Indian, MAC NC35 in the Studio Fix, with black hair. I had Soprano on my upper lip, underarms, bikini and legs about 5-6 years ago after reading about the Courthouse Clinic on MN and having a recommendation from a friend the very same week. It worked an absolute treat - honestly, 10/10 - on bikini and underarms, achieved a 8/10 result on my legs, and was rubbish on my upper lip - apparently the hair is both fine and fair here so not especially responsive.

I’m probably due a top-up but it’s been years of hair-free stress in the interim so I’d thoroughly recommend it provided you don’t go to some cowboys reduced to flogging their wares on Groupon.

I manage my upper lip using a combination of threading and bleaching now, in case you’re wondering.
