Knee length boots for fat calves!

I'm turning green with envy reading the thread about boots for skinny calves. Does anyone know where I can get boots for fat calves? I got some from Duo a couple of years ago, but they're too baggy round the ankles. (Imagine Victorian table legs - very narrow at the bottom, before getting very wide. That's what my legs are like!)

Now, I tried on a pair in Clarks, and eventually got the zip right up...but I think they'd stop the blood supply to my lower leg within an hour or so. I'm not prepared to get gangrene in my quest for a perfect boot.

My question is, would the Clarks ones eventually stretch (they were leather), or where else does boots for people with calves like tree trunks?

evans boots are expensive but are really well made and last for years if you get a classical style. even better if you can wait till the new year sales.
