Do you wear your hair in a side or middle parting?

What looks best? I can’t decide. Or does it just depend on the individual/face shape etc?

I’m doing middle at the moment but wondering if side is more flattering.

Yes I know it’s not the most important thing in the world but wondering and need to decide before I get highlights.

Neither. Clippercut!

When I had a pixie cut, it naturally went into a side parting. When my hair was very long, I could force it to part from the centre.

I think how it looks best depends on how your hair naturally lays, the length, thickness & texture, your face shape, etc.

@ simonfromharlow that made me chuckle cos word for word, that's what I say about my hair!!

Mine naturally parts in the middle but I sometimes part it to the side which I prefer actually.

Mine falls just to the side and won't be told to go anywhere else.

Middle parting for 41 years. Changed it to side about 18 months ago, and much prefer it.

I have a middle parting. I can't do a side parting, no matter how hard I try. My hair just pings back.

I think a middle looks lovely with a fringe / l have that now. No fringe? I’d go for a side one... but not too far over.
If that makes sense?

DramaAlpaca · 26/01/2020 21:49

Side at the moment.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor I defy to to suggest these middle partings are not flattering. It is not a yes or no answer. It depends on the face and head shape. Symmetrical faces tend to suit centre partings. Asymmetrical faces benefit from side partings as you distract from the facial asymmetry with an asymmetrical parting. It also depends on how your hair grows.

Nope,I just don't like them on anyone, slightly off centre always looks better imo.
