I realised this when I was completing a survey for something or other that asked where I prefer to buy dresses from. I love dresses and I have a couple of odd ones from here or there which randomly fitted my shape (not including evening wear, which is a special kind of nightmare, but I have dresses from independent shops, generally without a defined waist line). Is there anyone on here who has a long torso who is able to buy high street dresses? I am a 12-14, big boobs and I big tummy (I need to lose a stone!). I'm 5'6" but my legs are disproportionately short. I'm looking for a dress to wear to a wedding, and I find it so depressing. I should be able to buy stuff in my size and I either like it or don't, but this constant problem of not sitting on the right place on my body just makes me look ridiculous.
