What tshirts can I get DS(15) that don't cost the earth but aren't 'lame'?

He's going on a trip and needs 4 or 5.

I don't want to go primark like I usually do but I can't get addidas at like 20 quid each

Any ideas?

Take a look on Depop or EBay for cheaper Adidas or DS favourite brands.
TK Maxx is quite good for t-shirts that are branded at a cheaper price.

River Island do some really nice plain but fitted ones in different colours/styles - they are 2 for £12 or £14

nandaandm · 16/01/2020 19:01

Try sports direct. They do offers like 2 Nike or Adidas t shirts for £15.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 16/01/2020 19:02

I bought some for my DS (20)
H&M and TopMan ( TopMan had a 2 for £10 offer)

Really pleased with them .

H&M had a Premium cotton that were £13ish , really heavy , looked good quality . I might get some of those but the colours were limited (navy, grey, white, black)

DS is at University but not into labels (thankfully)

SweetpeaOrMarigold · 16/01/2020 19:08

Try M+M direct, they have nice brands and decent prices.
We have ds12 who will only wear black or grey with labels and is happy with his Christmas haul from there. Thankfully ds10 isn't bothered yet, but I'm sure high school will break him too!

Itsagrandoldteam · 16/01/2020 19:09

Sports direct sell a brand called Soul Cal, they are actually really good quality heavy cotton. Some of the plain t shirts with a small emblem are 2 for £12, some are even cheaper online.
I don't usually recommend Sports direct, but these t shirts are really good quality, I bought some for my DS who started 6th form in September and they still look really good.

Asda, Tesco and Sainsburys all sell cheap plain t shirts.

slipperywhensparticus · 16/01/2020 19:10

Buy him a black one?

LidlDonkey · 16/01/2020 19:11

My DS 17 wears ASOS t-shirts. Plain, in a variety of colours, wash well.

Tonz · 16/01/2020 19:15

I second M+M direct they sell big brands at cheap prices have a look online I get loads of stuff from there for myself my husband and my kids

BarkBarkBark · 16/01/2020 19:15

He's not relaly into labels but I'd just like to get him something a bit nicer than his usual supermarket brand.

I'll check these out

Sadly this is when a trip into sports direct is often necessary.

Lordfrontpaw · 16/01/2020 19:17

Just get some plain ones - like fruit of the loom on amazon.

AmIAWeed · 16/01/2020 19:29

Jack Wills have some t-shirts in the sale from £7. My son is 15 and slim and these are a fantastic fit for him

Floralnomad · 16/01/2020 19:31

I don’t know if they are ‘lame’ or not but Hollister t shirts are reasonable and very nice .

XingMing · 16/01/2020 19:52

Redbubble.

nevernotstruggling · 16/01/2020 19:59

Animal have a good sale on right now I've bought t shirts for £7/8 that are lovely - the dds approves

noideaatallreally · 16/01/2020 20:03

Qwertee if he wants something other than plain t shirts.

Upsidedownfrown · 16/01/2020 20:10

Just got 12yo ds a couple of Levi's t-shirts on Amazon. They were about £15 each. He's quite slim and average height and fits the men's xxs size. Lots of designs, some cheaper than others.

Upsidedownfrown · 16/01/2020 20:28

Omg I just realised you said NOT that price range. Please ignore me. It's been a very long day and my brain seems to have ceased functioning correctly

BarkBarkBark · 16/01/2020 20:30

I went to m&mdirect and got some really nice ones. French connection for about £4! And a few other brands.
Also got him some jack and Jones jeans for 6 quid!

Thanks!

teta · 17/01/2020 12:59

Hollister - the ones in the sale online. My two boys scroll thru' and pick the ones they like, then leave it to me to pay .

XingMing · 18/01/2020 12:11

Uniqlo sale may help you. The men's XXS fits my pipecleaner DS.
