14 year old outfit for a small family wedding

We have a small family wedding soon and I’m struggling to find a suitable outfit for DD who is 14. Any ideas/inspiration?

She is very sporty so prefers sports leggings and hoodies..... She isn’t keen on a long dress but would wear a short one. She won’t wear pink, red or things with flowers on them.

I’m beginning to think smart trousers and a top might look better. She is 5ft 6ins and a size 8.

Any suggestions?

My daughter is a bit younger (12) but also likes to be permanently in leggings and a hoody so we’ve had similar challenges. Our compromise has usually been to get her a jumpsuit, we’ve found some nice wide leg ones in m&s although we’ve got an occasion coming up when she’s going to wear a top and tulle skirt, we’re yet to agree what she wears on her feet, possibly sparkly DMs

Good places to look are Debenhams, Next, Monsoon and Littlewoods.

A jumpsuit is a good idea or a skirt and top rather than a dress. It somehow feels a bit less dressy.

Came to say jumpsuit, please don’t go for a confirmation style dress for a sporty 14 yr old.

My 14 yr wears these dresses to most events at the moment with a fat face tweet camel coat and a big scarf

She looks gorgeous!

She sounds just like my 14 yo! Nothing pink, nothing frilly, no flowers, etc.
We got her a navy jumpsuit that she looks very glam & dressed-up in, and she feels very good in. She also has grey wool crop trousers that she can dress up with (my) black ankle booties.

I had forgotten about jumpsuits. We tried them for an event over a year ago and her body shape was all wrong for it but her body shape has changed completely since.

I like that Urban Outfitters dress but not sure she will agree😬
