I like the really long to your feet skirts, but I don't know if they suit me!!

What is the general rule for the different shapes??

no they wont suit you unless u want to look taller than you are. youre too tall for them. just below knee for my lady i m afraid.
or go with designs designed specifically for taller women, usually more in proportion.

anyway you prob have lovely legs for showing off!

Every type of skirt suits tall and skinny people, they are designed to suit you. When I was thin I used to wear right down to my feet skirts with boots and it looked fab, no such thing as too tall unless you are totally out of proportion.

I think the maxi skirt will look good actually with flat shoes and if it's low-slung. And the magazines say taller = larger prints. Though I agree with hermykne you prob should be showing your legs off not hiding them uner swathes of fabric!
