Little hoop earrings...how on earth to you put them in?

My husband bought me the most beautiful little earrings for Christmas. They are pendants on little hoop sleepers.
I cannot get them done up at all. Such fiddly little devils and no matter what I do I can't get them to line up so I can close them.

Is there some magic trick?
And if not can anyone suggest some small silver hoop earrings that easy to put in that I can put the pendants on instead?

I ask one of my friends to do it at school drop off. That may not help you though! In future I'm just going to buy the hinged ones, they're easier.

Good mirror and sitting down with clear floor around me. Absolutely not in the kitchen or bathroom or near elevated chest of drawers, wardrobes etc.
Or ask someone to.put them in.

Sort of bend the hoop to one side a bit but I agree they are a right faff! How about buying some hinged ones to put the pendants on as a PP suggested?

Well i've tried and tried and they are impossible. And I have dainty fingers and am very good at fiddly jobs usually.
DH has told me to just go to the jewellers and buy some hinged ones so that's what I'm going to do.
