look at duoboots - they have different width fittings

Another vote for Duo. I have skinny calves (with fat thighs - how is it possible that all boots are too big and all trousers are too tight?) and they are marvellous.

They have a shop in Bath and a fitting room (you try on a sample then still do mail order) in London if you are near either.

only on legs though, the feet bits are standard width. oddly they do wider fitting shoes.

more info re boots required please. heel height, leather or suede, round square or pointy toed. everyday or occasional wear?

hobbs good and do fit my feet which are quite wide.

RibenaBerry · 28/08/2007 13:52

oh dear, yes. They are dead helpful if you call them though. Depends how wide your feet are I suppose...

Oh, and the wider leg fitting are wider fitting shoes (I see that they assume people are - unlike me- in proportion).

Next and Evans do a size 9 - not sure how stunning they are though!

Thanks, I'll have a look at hobbs, not sure about duo but maybe i'd get away with a 9 in certain styles.
Cheers
