I've never been a bridesmaid

My friend who i have known since we were about 6.

Went to be measured for the dresses yesterday and now the order has been sent

Neither have I belgo hence the excitment.

I was so worried she might pick something hideous LOL.

Oh and, I am staying overnight in the hotel, have a lovely posh room all to myself.

It's my treat to myself as I can't go on the hen weekend, and at least I have a year to save for it lol.

That is a lovely dress.
I've been a bridesmaid twice - once when I was 16 and was forced to wear a disasterous dusky pink number.
The other was when I was 25 and me and the other 2 bridesmaids were almost as different in shape as it is possible for 3 women to be. But the bride insisted that we wore the same as each other. So we ended up with dresses that didn't completely suit any of us

Hope you don't pop with excitement before the big day

Will be so weird as I have never had to get that dressed up for anything in my life, so I might not recognise myself. Won't be wearing my glases either lol.
