The sides of my nose is very sore

The sides of my nose is very sore. As in the skin at the sides of my nose. I do suspect it's from the winter and the cold.

I will admit I find it hard to look after myself properly and I would be lucky if I got the time to wash my face once a week. The moisturizer that I go back to time and time again is vaseline.

If I was to go out I would make more of an effort and the extra I add then is an olay tinted moisturizer.

What can I do about the sore sides of my nose? Make more effort to wash my face every day? Moisturizer every day?

Do you use balm tissues when you have a cold? They make a big difference for me when I have a cold. I still get a bit sore, but not as badly, and I slather my nose with Vaseline when it gets like that.

NB, is it just outside your nostrils? A couple of years ago I got impetigo in my nose and it was agony, but antibiotic cream sorted it out,

Put Sudocrem on the sides of your nose before you go to bed. Wash off in the morning. This helps me!Xmas Grin

Do you not wash your face in the shower?

Sudocrem is good as is Nivea but you need to apply to clean skin.

Try calendula cream (most supermarkets sell it and of course Boots, Holland Barret) Nelsons do be for about £5. I use it on everything I’m puzzled by. Even on my dog if he has an unidentified rash. It’s gentle and super healing. Great for grazes, damaged skin, etc.
