Which leather jacket

Just had a nice recognition award at work which means I can treat myself to a new leather jacket in the all saints sale. I’ve ordered two but wanted opinions on which to go for. I’m a size 12, 5ft 5. I had an Atkinson from 2016 which I loved but then ruined with my son’s swimming kit (don’t ask!!!)

Anyway the two I’m thinking of are

In Olive
Or

In duck egg (essentially grey!)

Any opinions on these please? Part of me thinks I might need two....

I still prefer the grey.

I just don’t think I’d wear a black one. Maybe I’m a bit strange but I can’t see myself wearing one in black. It’s a big birthday early next year, so perhaps DH might have my present sorted without too much effort on his part (well apart from taking these photos!)
I think the two colours are quite different and would definitely work with different tops/dresses

I prefer the green one on you, but it's hard to tell with course without natural light.

Sooverthemill · 23/12/2019 22:07

Grey. I love grey leather jackets

Ellapaella · 23/12/2019 22:12

I like the first one best - I do like the grey one but the first one has a nicer fit on you and I think the darker colour suits you better.

SouthWestmom · 23/12/2019 22:16

Second one much more of a look, first one could be from anywhere

Ponks · 23/12/2019 22:41

The olive one looks better on you, the grey looks more clumpy

LyndaLaHughes · 24/12/2019 00:46

The first one looks much better. Whilst the colours are both nice the style and fit of the first are way more flattering.

Karmatime · 24/12/2019 06:07

Having said earlier I prefer the grey; the olive is a much nicer fit and looks fab on you, I don’t think it’s worth buying both as they are similar tones

Mumdiva99 · 24/12/2019 06:11

I like the grey colour. It's nicer in real life than the catalogue picture. I can imagine it over soft summer clothes too.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/12/2019 06:59

I keep looking at the green, but I just can't like it. And I can't see it working with many colours either. The shape and fit are great, but the colour but isn't very nice.

Fedupofballs · 24/12/2019 07:06

I’m leaning towards the green and will possibly look out for a lighter shade next year. MIL is coming later, she’ll give a good opinion in real life.

Green one for sure, the stronger colour makes it look better quality than the Grey!

Sooverthemill · 24/12/2019 09:47

I've looked again. My preference is for the shape of the olive one but I think the colour is too pale. I have a grey leather jacket very similar to the second one which I love but I don't have a belted version which I would not like. Yes ask MIL ( and let us know)

hammeringinmyhead · 24/12/2019 10:06

I had an olive All Saints jacket, wore it twice and sold it. The colour looked off with everything - denim, black jeans, dresses.

Verite1 · 05/01/2020 22:39

trader21c · 12/01/2020 18:04

Jeeperscreepers69 · 22/01/2020 18:54
