OMG, this is amazing - I need someone else to try it!

You know those face razor things you can get to dermaplane your face at home?

I did my face as usual, then absentmindedly did a bit of my leg..... it was AMAZING!!!

I thought I was exfoliating quite well as did those mitt things and a scrub once a week, but I clearly bloody wasn’t! The skin and fuzz and just general crap that came off just from a small section has made my day!

Maybe this should be in sporners, I’m not sure, but my leg is so soft and it just looks shinier and better some how.

Please someone else try it so I can share this wonder! (Or tell my my legs must be super yuck and yours are all normal and nothing happened!)

Do you use it dry on your face or do you need some kind of moisturiser?

DumbFlagScum · 14/12/2019 22:12

What is this magic?

Where do I buy this??

Ninjakittysmellz · 14/12/2019 22:23

[ this video]] is kinda how I do it on my face. Same technique on legs to be honest.

I linked to the razer thingies I use up thread, they are soooo cheap!

I must purchase.

StealthPolarBear · 14/12/2019 22:52

I bought some ages ago for eyebrows and hated them so threw them out. Wish I could try this

Ninjakittysmellz · 15/12/2019 07:13

I agree @StealthPolarBear- they are crap on eyebrows. The rest of me is going to be silky smooth though! You need to buy some more!

Stupiddriver1 · 15/12/2019 07:33

I used these on my eyebrow once and had lots of horrible little scabs where I Cut myself. Spent a week with little red dots round my eyebrows.

BangingOn · 15/12/2019 09:09

I am on this right now. I bought those for the fuzz along my jawline and they work well but I get spots afterwards. Heading to the bathroom with razor in hand now...

CadburySpira · 15/12/2019 10:21

I’ve always thought these things looked a bit lethal, but I’m liking the leg exfoliation idea, my legs are always dry, this might be the answer to non-patchy fake tan!

Ninjakittysmellz · 15/12/2019 10:33

How did you get on @BangingOn?!

I never saw the point of them for eyebrows as the skin was so thin and threading does such a good job by comparison. For my legs though, game changer!

In the interest of over sharing, I’m going to do my upper legs today. Sunday funday!

I have these! Use them for my moustache Grin Just had a go on a bit of leg and nothing happened, though that bit of leg is now tingling the way my face does after using it there! I'm going to be very disappointed if loads of crap doesn't fall off my leg later (yes, going to try again)

Ninjakittysmellz · 15/12/2019 13:31

OH!!!! Try a bit more @BigbreastsBiggerbeard - I refuse to believe it’s not a miracle worker!!

Saying that, I did upper leg this morning and got bored. Not half as satisfying in the amount of crap that came off. And I scratched myself trying to lift my leg into the air so I could get a tricky bit BlushGrin

Hmmm this is intriguing! I have to wax my face because I am cursed with lady beard but I hate waxing all the fuzz off (soooooo painful) so might try this on my cheeks and save waxing for the real beard hairs on my chin! I will research the best technique...the blades are already on order haha!

BoswellSolver · 15/12/2019 13:54

So....is the point of them for facial use is an exfoliator?? I'm not particularly bothered about hair removal, but need a new exfoliating regime.

Ninjakittysmellz · 15/12/2019 14:23

@BoswellSolver I think their intended use is to remove the peach fuzz and top layer skin. I don’t really care about the hair aspect (thank god for threading!) but the difference in my skin is brill - it makes me look fresher and clearer somehow.

@YouveDoneItToYourself I too am blessed with a lady beard.... I pluck or thread mine, not sure I would use these razors to deal with it as mine are more indestructible than that! It’s perfect for peach fuzz though!

Right I’ve ordered one to exfoliate face. V excited. Thanks OP

YouveDoneItToYourself · 15/12/2019 16:01

Yes I have a lot of peach fuzz on my cheeks but proper beard hairs on my chin. Will use a combination of the two!

Aridane · 15/12/2019 16:45

Exfoliating sporn!

Ninjakittysmellz · 15/12/2019 17:13

Sod the face ladies - the legs are where the best action is! Haha!

OP posts:
shinynewapplesonachristmastree · 15/12/2019 22:41

You take off the top layer of your skin?? Isn't that painful?

JuneSpoon · 15/12/2019 23:31

Or are you shaving your face? Will it not grow back stubbly?

Ohyesiam · 15/12/2019 23:42

@JuneSpoon brows grow back stubbly, but not peach fuzz

JuneSpoon · 15/12/2019 23:46

Thanks ohyes

shadyzadie · 16/12/2019 09:27

Finally got around to trying it on my legs this morning. Then my arms too! Lots of powdery dead skin came away GrinShowered it all off and put on my usual body lotion and it soaked in so quickly! Normally I have to rub it in quite a bit and then feel a bit sticky for 10 minutes afterwards. Result!

gingersausage · 16/12/2019 10:21

Be careful if you are remotely cack-handed. I bought some and tried to do my face - ended up a bleeding then scabby mess where I cut myself Blush
