I mainly wear yellow gold so am favouring the second one - also means the tag wouldn’t be suitable

I did wonder about buying something to sell on!
I would much prefer to buy something second hand
I have even asked if I could have 2 £1k gift vouchers (DD and DS)

The other reason I fancy omega is I have an old 1960s gold omega but I can’t wear it anymore as it’s too big due to weight loss - strap of a type that can’t be altered

If I were choosing with your budget, I’d go for this Cartier. Cartier feels really special to me.

If it's a gemcard settlement there may be some independent jewellers which you may be able to use the card at.

I have a stainless steel Apple Watch with the matching Milanese loop, and genuinely can’t go back to a traditional watch now!
