How do you deal with that top layer of dry hair?!

My hair isn't what I would describe as dry and frizzy, it's like a mixture of normal hair but then the hair at the top layer just flies away. Does that make sense?!

Does the answer lie in which shampoo I use? Should I be doing a treatment? Would blow drying sort it out?!

Wax! Or gum, or putty, something like that just to smooth the fly aways :)

L'Oréal extraordinary oil before blow-drying or Frizz Ease secret agent smoothing creme.

Mine’s like that - it’s prone to breakage too. I’ve got a small bottle of olaplex 3 which I just use on that top section. It’s much more manageable and I’ve had people compliment my hair. I only use a tiny amount because of the price but it seems worth it.
