Black tie wedding...what does an 8 yr old and a 2 yr old wear???

Wedding week on sunday, DS 8, DD 2, what do they wear? am i supposed to hire black tie for DS? can DD just wear a pretty dress??

Smart trousers & shirt, possibly tie for DS.

I don't think you must put DS in black tie

BHS has nice trousers, shirt and tie combos for children. They do whole suit/shirt/tie deals for about £40/50 iirc (no wedding stuff though, which is what I was looking for) I found it almost impossible to find smart trousers for my boys when we were looking at the beginning of August, it seemed to be either school trousers or very casual trosers - jeans, combats etc. Luckily for us BIL decided to have DSs as 'pageboys' so they paid for overpriced stuff from Debenhams for them

Well let me know. As i say it's 18 months but might fit.
It's very posh and very lovely. will try and find a pic of DD2 in it. It's from Fortnum and mason and only ever been worn once.
