Long or short? Holey or solid? Dd1 is away at Guide camp and I know I will make the wrong decision on my own!

short white, no holes or frills!

scorpio1 · 21/08/2007 14:57

trainer socks?

Same thoughts here the other day.
My dd1 says short white

TooTicky · 21/08/2007 15:11

And what about tights?

DD1 favours black over the knee socks with skirts in winter, black ankle socks if wearing trousers. But she is the Henry Ford of 10-year-olds.

The girls at dd1's school wear tights - nylon when it is warm enough and cotton-rich when colder. Short ankle socks only when it is baking.

sorry you cant decide on your own. its totally dependent on teh current fashion at your childs school. coudl be long grey over the knee or short white or black opaque tights........just depends.

Oh dear. It's a minefield, isn't it?
