Where to buy hair clips for thick (adult) hair?

...preferably online as I really cannot face the shops at this time of year!

The sort of clips that you would use for a half-up/half down style - see pic. But are fairly sturdy rather than delicate and fit in plenty of hair!

Boots have some online. Search for barrette (more of an American term, but does narrow down the search readings more than “hair clip”!)

John Lewis do a good selection but you have to look in the hair care section rather than the jewellery counters. I have some barrettes and clips that have lasted years and years!

If you’re willing to wait, Wish and Ali express China sites. I get all my big beak clips from there because I can never find them in real shops

I also have the problem of breaking almost any hair clips/slides/pins that I buy.

Either that or they don't do anything - the chunk of hair they're attached to just falls forward as a whole piece. I'd like to be able to pin bits back somehow.

Hello! I ordered 2 from amazon mostly just as a stop-gap...they arrived today and look ok actually. Will report back...

Ficcare clips are the only thing that work for me. Not sure if they are on Amazon.
