Help! Christmas party outfit thats not a dress/skirt?

Got works Christmas do coming up v v soon amd i need to get myself sorted with an outfit.
I'm a Jeans and boots type of person, not particularly comfortable with getting my legs out as v self concious over them.
5ft4, size 12 top 14 on bottom(hips).

All i can find thats dressy, party type outfits are dresses

I don’t wear skirts and dresses. How formal is the party? And how hot will it be? There loads of sparkly jumpers around. Also short sleeve tops, but I am always cold and a cover up always spoils the line. Like this

I always do tuxedo trousers myself. Love the stripe down the side. Looks fab with a silky camisole and a tuxedo jacket or velvet jacket. Inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer years ago.

Oh yes, I love a tux too! I haven't got one, but think they look fab on others.

I went out last night and wore tailored black trousers with a bodysuit and a sparkly jacket. Paired up with heeled sandals.

Its not formal dress, but not casual where I'd get away with an xmas jumper either.

Never really thought about jumpsuits.

I bought a pair of velvet trousers from Next in the Tesco F and F section - ideal for Christmas - they are stretchy with a belt and because you are smaller on top you can tuck a top in - high rise as well - really thick and good value for £18.

There's a velvet suit from River Island I've seen everywhere lately, it has a lurex check going through it and diamanté buttons.

The main reason you should check it out is cos the trousers are stretchy! Looks super comfy. Pop a plain black t shirt under and jobs a good 'un.

Pleated black culottes - last year from Primark plus a sparkly top from my collection accumulated over the years from various Jan sales including Oasis, Next & Warehouse. New Look seem to have quite a few styles around the £20 mark.

I've just brought a pair of disco leggings (kind of shiny but not the leather look type ones) and a black velvet peplum top to wear with them for my work Xmas party on Friday. I don't do skirts either although mainly because when I've had a few I cba faffing with tights I'll be wearing ankle block heels boots with them and my leather jacket on top x

I'm tempted to buy this but I don't have anywhere to wear it. In real life it's more dramatic with a copper and black colour.
