I've absolutely fallen in love with this dress and I can't afford it... can you help me find a similar one?

I get married in May. I've hugely struggled to find a dress that I like... until I fell in love with this one today. But it's £4K, and as much as I love it, I can't afford that.., I don't want to spend that on a day. £2k was my absolute ceiling.

Does anyone know of anything similar? I love it so much.

Check if the brand or store it’s from has sample sales. I got mine from a place where most of the dresses are 3-4K, but in the sample sale my dress was reduced from 4K to £850!

Hmm, it’s an ok dress but that photo looks odd - it has been photoshopped I think.

Have you tried it on? It doesn't look real. I agree its been photo shopped. It might not look anything like that in real life. She has been stretched. Her head isn't in proportion to her body.

Have a look at Rebecca Ingram dresses from Maggie Sottero. They have a couple of similar styles.

It’s not particularly unusual. Just go to a few different dress shops and try on fish tails. Sure you’ll find something for your budget.

That Wed2B one has a much nicer neckline and hasn't been so obviously photoshopped.

Have you looked on stillwhite? There are new and preowned on there and you can filter by dress type - they have lots of sheath type dresses.

Go to a dressmaker with good recommendations; if you have a 2k budget you should be able to get something like that made.

@tigerbear - the OP's top budget is £2k not £7k!

I don't know what these retail at but Watters is not a really expensive brand. Would any of these be suitable alternatives?
